📖｜簡介｜
當代全球難民議題正經歷深刻的轉型，流離失所的圖像已不再侷限於邊境的營地，而是延伸至城市空間、專業職場以及法律制度的灰色地帶。本工作坊最重要的目的，在建立一個交流平台，讓從事不同文化社會難民研究的青年學者，透過分享各自的研究成果與田野觀察，拓展對當代難民議題更多視角與脈絡的理解。進一步，本工作坊也希望連結來自不同場域、對難民議題有興趣、正在進行相關研究或參與相關實務工作者，除促進彼此的認識與交流，更希望開創未來在該議題下各種合作形式的可能性。
這場工作坊邀請3位關注不同難民社群的青年學者來分享他們的研究成果。我們將藉由他們的田野觀察探討在地緣政治經濟牽動下，難民與無國籍者如何作為主動介入社會結構的行動者。討論主題將聚焦不同社會脈絡中難民產製的原因、難民的跨境遷移，以及難民在不同客居社會的身分處境與人群網絡。並安排與談人針對個別議題進行評論，透過延伸的對話與討論，工作坊也將帶領參與者思考：難民的身分是如何在不同的政策與治理中被界定；不同世代的難民如何建構其社群連結，甚至是，透過不同的媒介工具，展開跨國的社群行動，參與或影響其來源國的社會議題。

📄 Abstract
Contemporary global refugee issues are undergoing a profound transformation. The image of displacement is no longer confined to border camps, but extends to urban spaces, professional workplaces, and the gray areas of legal systems. The primary goal of this workshop is to establish an exchange platform for young scholars engaged in refugee studies across different cultural and social contexts. By sharing their research findings and field observations, we seek to broaden understanding of contemporary refugee issues across diverse perspectives and contexts. Furthermore, the workshop hopes to connect individuals from various fields who are interested in refugee issues, conducting related research, or engaged in practical work. Beyond fostering mutual understanding and exchange, we aim to explore possibilities for future collaboration in this field.
This workshop invites three young scholars focusing on different refugee communities to share their research findings. Through their field observations, we will explore how refugees and stateless individuals act as agents who actively intervene in social structures under the influence of geopolitical and economic shifts. The discussions will focus on the causes of refugee generation in varying social contexts, their cross-border migration, and their identity status and social networks in different host societies. Discussants are also invited to provide commentary on specific topics. Through extended dialogues and discussions, the workshop will guide participants to reflect on: how refugee identities are defined within various policies and governance frameworks; how different generations of refugees build their community connections; and even how they utilize various media tools to initiate transnational community actions, thereby participating in or influencing social issues in their countries of origin.
